Dear Students, Welcome to our DDUC Parivaar! As the new academic session starts off, our commitment to usher in new ideas, guide students in achieving their goals, and secure the future of this country grows stronger. The competition each one of us faces today is immense as well as complex. It has become a prerequisite to focus on multiskilling, creating a vast talent pool, and transform our students into men and women of thought and action. To accomplish this, we have designed the learning and teaching process in a manner that our students acquire the ability to navigate through the winds of change in a sustainable, responsible and inclusive manner. Established in 1990, our college is named after Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, a visionary thinker, author, translator, reformer, journalist and leader, all rolled into one. Deen Dayalji stressed that education should focus on fulfilling the needs of the body, mind, intellect, as well as the soul. This is necessary to achieve holistic progress of students. Our college inculcates in students core values like compassion, honesty, dedication towards the nation and makes them responsible citizens. At our institution, a seamless balance between academic and co-curricular activities is ensured to promote lifelong learning. The College has 26 societies that you can be a part of, learn life skills and groom your personality. Our laurels in sports are well known. Our green campus and award-winning infrastructure complete this picture. I feel proud to share that our college is ranked among the top institutions of the country. In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2025) ranking, released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, our college has been ranked as the 27th best college in India. In India Today MDRA Ranking for the year 2026, our college has secured 13th in science, 18th in Commerce, 10th in Management and 39th position in Arts colleges in India respectively. We have 350 desktops, 220 laptops and well equipped 20 laboratories with smartboards. We believe in the democratization of knowledge and social outreach programmes. Our college has collaborated with schools located in remote areas and we conduct workshops for skill building of their teachers. By adopting this practice, we contribute to the overall development of society. I congratulate all the students who will become a part of this journey of technology-enabled processes and digital innovation and will make a difference in the world. My best wishes for your bright future! Prof. Hem Chand Jain Principal principaldducollege@ddu.du.ac.in
