Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College Centre of Non–Collegiate Women Education Board 2020–2021

The academic session 2020-21 of Non-Collegiate Women Education Board was marked by unprecedented challenges brought about by the outbreak of the Covid'19 pandemic. Due to the pandemic, all teaching-learning processes transitioned into virtual online mode across platforms. The centre ensured comprehensive academic continuity for all enrolled students in B.A. and B.Com. programmes through systematic scheduling of online lecture deliveries, distribution of study material, and active digital mentorship.

Despite external constraints, several academic enrichment programmes were conducted during this academic cycle. The centre organized a specialized two-day national workshop on 'E-filing of Income Tax Returns and GST Compliance' to augment practical financial literacy. Additionally, the 'Paryavaran Chetna Competition' was hosted to raise environmental consciousness among learners, alongside an interactive Entrepreneurship Development Programme. A special inter-college seminar on modern Hindi literature and an online Annual Day celebration recognized the academic toppers and outstanding student achievements.

The academic term began with an intensive Orientation Programme welcoming the incoming batch, elucidating the syllabus structure, evaluation criteria, and institutional code of conduct.

To enhance digital competencies, the centre organised a multi-tier Computer Literacy Workshop catering to both foundational and intermediate applications. A special tutorial programme was established specifically for slow learners to bridge learning gaps. Special sessions on women's safety, legal awareness, and mental wellbeing were executed. The extracurricular calendar featured an educational excursion to Lohagarh Farm and culminated in the vibrant cultural festival 'RUNG 2020', showcasing the creative talents of non-collegiate women students across Delhi University.
